Avery Dennison is a global materials science company specializing in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of labeling and functional materials. The company’s products, which are used in nearly every major industry, include pressure-sensitive materials for labels and graphic applications; tapes and other bonding solutions for industrial, medical, and retail applications; tags, labels and embellishments for apparel; and radio frequency identification (RFID) solutions serving retail apparel and other markets. Avery Dennison has a robust team of professionals running continuous improvement projects across the organization. As a growing operation with constantly shifting priorities, they knew the key to further improvement was engaging those closest to the work to solve day-to-day operating problems. Avery Dennison launched their first Rapid Action™ team in February 2021 and hit the ball out of the ballpark. We are excited to continue our work with them throughout 2021 and beyond!
