Common Questions

What Level Do I Need?

Every situation is unique and we recognize that one size may not fit all. The categories above are general guidelines for where new clients may fall in their journey. We are here to help and recommend scheduling a call with a Leap Partner to discuss your needs.

What is Coaching Support?

On Rapid Action™ Pilot deployments, a Leap Partner will assist in prelaunch planning and co-lead the launch meeting with your team leader, after which they will provide weekly coaching and mentoring support over the 60-day project to ensure success. This can additionally include participation in weekly action meetings as needed as well as advice and help on the midpoint check-in meeting. On more robust deployments, like Professional and Enterprise, a Leap Partner leads a Rapid Action™ Team Leader Workshop for up to 10 future team leaders to help you build the capability to run future teams. We recognize that, while Rapid Action™ is designed as a simple approach to continuous improvement, many organizations do not currently have full-time employees devoted to this type of work or any experience running teams.

Can I Just Buy a Kit?

We take pride in finding solutions for our clients that help them achieve their goals. In most cases, we recommend a brief discussion to determine what Rapid Action™ deployment is right for you. The purchase of single Rapid Action™ Team Kits with no support are generally reserved for trained change agents with experience running improvement teams.

What Does “Guaranteed Return” Mean?

Every project is different. A healthcare practice that wants to improve patient falls may not wish to tie the success of a project team to hard dollar savings, while a manufacturing facility that is working on production could see more than $1M in savings. Critical success factors include selecting the right project and identifying the right resources for participation on the team. We understand that the decision to bring outside resources into the fold is usually not made lightly, so we guarantee that Rapid Action™ works and that for every engagement we are involved in, we deliver results.

Where could you be in 60 days?

  • Rapid Action is simply the best tool for making positive improvements in your organization. One of the strengths of the program is that it brings together people on the front lines with other departments and management. Front line staff understand the process as well as anyone but are often left out of improvement plans.
    Chris Giordullo
    Director, Mercy Health Physicians
  • The Rapid action process is a breath of fresh air from typical project management. The toolkit is like a potion that gets everyone engaged right from the first meeting.
    Chris Lopez
Senior IT Manager, Artesyn Embedded Technologies
  • Rapid Action™ is an excellent tool for driving employee engagement through continuous improvement. The results of our projects are positive, and the employees feel energized. A true win-win experience.
    John O’Rourke
    Plant Manager, NAES Corporation
  • The best thing about Rapid Action is that a motivated supervisor, with leadership support and enabled employees can make huge gains in performance in a short period of time.
    Mark Deutsch
    Division Chief, MBB, U.S. Army
  • In the past, we viewed employee engagement as a feel-good thing. With Rapid Action™, we can tie higher employee engagement directly to the bottom line.
    Jim Long
    President and CEO, Veolia
  • Rapid Action™ is, by far, my “go to” choice for getting frontline employees involved in our Lean Six Sigma efforts.
    Joe Gliksman
    Master Black Belt, Mosaic Co.
  • Launching multiple successful projects would not have been possible without the structure and framework of the Rapid Action process. We have engaged all levels of leadership and staff to quickly deploy changes in our processes that have provided real benefits to our patients and our care teams.
    Shelli Hugenberg, MSW
Director of Primary Care, Mercy Health Physicians
