The Deployment Leader of the organization's Lean Six Sigma initiative was looking for a more reliable platform to support Green Belt training that would produce quick-win results while ensuring readiness for more advanced skills training.

Team Engagement Strategy

All Green Belt candidates were trained with Rapid Action, an "all in one" team engagement toolkit for accelerating results, and required to complete a 60-day Rapid Action project before moving forward into advanced skills training.

• Developed a clear company-wide definition of overweight conditions for use by all plant loading teams.
• Defined and implemented a standard loading pattern across all sites to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of overweight conditions before a truck leaves the loading dock.
